Hello Everyone and welcome to my site!
Drawing has been a passion of mine from a young age, i was always found with a pencil or paintbrush in my hand. Drawing anything and everything from landscapes to people, wildlife and mystical creatUres. However there was always one animal that i was drawn to time and time again. Yep, you’ve guessed it, horses!
Although my scribbles as a child may not have even slightly resembled a horse, I never gave up. Not only in my fascination of drawing them but also with the desperation of being a rider and owning one myself.
When i was very young i occasionally got the opportunity to have a lead around the hillsides of my mothers home country of Slovakia while on holiday; but my interests grew from the tales and pictures along with trophies and rosettes of my dads riding adventures during his childhood.
By the time I’m was finishing primary school, one of my friends had a horse riding birthday party and the rest was history. I worked my paper rounD just to scrape enough money to earn myself a riding lesson once a month for the following year and after showing my commitment to these beautiful animals i managed to persuade my dad to get us one of our own. A beautiful sports horse named AEro. Unfortunately she was much to big, green and strong for a novice and so We came to the conclusion that she would be better off with a more competent jockey.
After a few years of working in a riding school and having the opportunity to ride a variation of horses and ponies, i was fortunate enough to stumble upon (with the help of my dad) the most gorgeous, humble, yet talented new forest pony who is now and will always be my best friend.
This leads me to where i am now, a rider and an artist with an adoration of both of these hobby’s. I have a deep understanding of how powerful the connection of these four legged friends can be to us humans and how they can really leave a hoof print in our heart. I strive to create the most personal drawings, a memory like no other that can be framed and displayed in pride of place for years to come!
